Yamamoto Research Chromium Picolinate is a food supplement which provides 200 µg of chromium per daily dose. Chromium contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels and normal macronutrient metabolism.

Chromium is a metal present in very small quantities in the body, a trace element however defined as "essential" for the normal metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids, and also acts on the metabolism of corticosteroids.

On a physiological level, chromium is very important because it is part of the GFT, the glucose tolerance factor, a molecule that enhances the effect of insulin. Chromium is recommended as a supplement as it contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels, presenting a better stabilization of blood sugar.
