Hyaluronic acid is a molecule naturally present in the body which is found mainly in the synovial fluid around the joints, allowing daily movements and preventing or combating pain as a shock absorber and lubricant. In fact, it seems to be able to influence the way in which the body is able to react to trauma. It is a mucopolysaccharide, a molecule found at the level of the fundamental substance of the connective tissue, produced to hydrate and protect the tissues. Its peculiarity is in fact that of being able to bind water molecules to itself, retaining it to create protective gels useful for skin and joints.
