ISOZER POWDER® is a food supplement based on isolated whey proteins of very high biological value, obtained by cross-flow ultrafiltration and microfiltration, of absolute Volactive® UltraWhey XP quality which further enriches the growing ALPHAZER catalog of top quality products.
ISOZER POWDER® is indicated for all sportsmen who practice intense physical activity and need rapid and effective muscle reconstruction. In fact, proteins contribute to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass, have a plastic function (tissue maintenance and repair), and constitute the physiological structural component of hormones, antibodies and enzymes. The product is enriched with Vitamin B6, which contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Protein requirement and its value for athletes
Today the scientific medical community finally recognizes the value of the protein intake in the athlete which must be higher than the sedentary subject to promote the performance of our muscles and the recovery processes, bearing in mind that the "protein" macronutrient is used for various physiological functions , not only those purely "plastic - structural" towards the skeletal or "contractile" muscles, but also as a support in the constitution of enzymes, hormones and cells of the immune system. Several reference scientific societies, such as the "American College of Sports Medicine" recommend a protein intake of between 1.2 and 2g/Kg/day for athletes, reaching 2.2-2.5 g/kg for athletes of power sports or body building, (variable and subjective based on the intensity and duration of the activity) compared to what is recommended for healthy sedentary people (0.8g/Kg/day). This allows you to compensate for the increased protein requirement. This macronutrient was often associated with muscle building or with body building or anaerobic sports athletes, but an adequate protein intake in the diet is of fundamental importance for any athlete, including endurance sports, where the stress and fatigue it accumulates in performance, impacts aerobic metabolism and recalls the need to rebuild precious metabolically active muscle tissue that is easily degraded during prolonged performance. Therefore, in order for there to be an efficient synthesis of new proteins and an effective adaptation from training, it is essential that proteins with a high biological value, which contain all the precious "essential amino acids" (including the branched-chain amino acids or BCAAs), are present, especially in conjunction with training sessions.
What is Cross-Flow Ultrafiltration and Microfiltration Whey Protein Isolate? Whey Protein Isolate (WPI) is treated with special systems to remove greater amounts of fat and lactose. They have by definition an average protein content of 90%, but the protein density can vary from lows of 86-88% or higher. Microfiltration is the most expensive process among those used for the isolation of whey protein-based protein supplements, and it is also the one that is able to preserve the most integrity and presence of the bio-active protein fractions, which determine the quality of the protein itself. The whey, obtained in the first phase of processing by ultrafiltration, is conveyed into an apparatus which, using a membrane filter system, proceeds to a further progressive filtration through which other unwanted particles are eliminated, including minerals, lipids and lactose. The microfiltered proteins are 99% undenatured and retain all the important bio-active peptide fractions of undenatured whey.
What does Volactive® UltraWhey XP certification and raw material mean? Volac® is a point of reference in the field of dairy and livestock production, as well as the largest producer of nutritional whey proteins for "Lifestyle" applications in Europe. It has earned a reputation as an absolute innovator in production technology and nutritional development. Volac®'s technical-scientific team draws on the company's 40-year heritage in whey processing and the use of state-of-the-art ultrafiltration techniques. The range of Volactive® products comes from the use of the most recent and complex membrane and spray drying technologies, which effectively stabilizes the protein matter by reducing the denaturation of the proteins to an absolute minimum and thus providing whey proteins with highly superior nutritional profiles compared to protein preparations obtained with other processing methods which can compromise their stability. Volactive® UltraWhey XP is a high quality whey protein isolate. Contains at least 92% whey protein, it is XP (Xtra Pure): it is ultrafiltered through a low temperature and low pressure process to create an extra pure whey protein ingredient with low lactose and fat content. Volac® is the largest producer of whey proteins for lifestyle applications in Europe, with a reputation for leading innovation in the technology of their processing and nutritional development.
