Today the scientific medical community finally recognizes the value of the protein intake in the athlete which must be higher than the sedentary subject to promote the performance of our muscles and the recovery processes, bearing in mind that the "protein" macronutrient is used for various physiological functions , not only those purely "plastic - structural" towards the skeletal or "contractile" muscles, but also as a support in the constitution of enzymes, hormones and cells of the immune system.
